My wonderful longtime girlfriend (longtime = since we were in baby carriages) and her equally wonderful hubby extended an invitation for dinner at their gorgeous new home that sits at the edge of High Park.
She prepared salmon with sweet corn, tomato and avocado relish, which can be found on Martha Stewart's website here. It was a perfect summer dinner. And such a pretty tablescape! I wish I had taken a picture of the fruit and ginger molasses cookies from St. Jacob's Market. They are such incredible hosts!
The evening ended perfectly with a stroll through High Park.
Summer evenings are meant for this - great food, walks outside, and incredible company.
