For awhile I didn't even own an ironing board. This was great 'cause I had an excuse not to iron. The simple solution was, "I'll just throw it in the dryer. It'll take most of the wrinkles out". This, unfortunately, doesn't work.
Then I purchased a good, heavy duty ironing board hoping that it would motivate me to press. I have put on favourite TV shows and played music - ironed in heels even - hoping it would make the task less daunting and tedious. No such luck. There is a section of must-iron-before-wearing clothes at the back of the closet which hasn't seen day light in awhile. Soon, my lovelies.
You see, as I was flipping through the pages of Style At Home (Aug 2010), I noticed a feature on a remarkable contraption by Miele called the Rotary Iron B990.
Well, oh my goodness me. Imagine my excitement when I read that I can "sit and iron in comfort". I'm so in. Wait... let's see... oh... it's $2700.00. That's okay. Penny jar required to save for this ingenious piece of machinery. This, my friends, is the price of ironing bliss.
